The staff worked diligently to keep the environment tidy, contributing to a pleasant stay. One guest mentioned, "Hotel is aesthetically top notch; everywhere is finished to a modern standard and it's absolutely spotless." This attention to cleanliness made a significant positive impression on visitors.
Staff
The staff at the hotel were frequently described as friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall guest experience. Many guests appreciated the warm welcome and attentive service, particularly highlighting individuals like the manager and waitress Gimez. A guest noted, "Gimez, the waitress, was simply amazing – she was so kind, played with my daughter, and even took her for a ride on rollers." Such personal touches were highly valued by visitors.
Facilities
The hotel offers a wide range of facilities that cater to both adults and children, making it an ideal choice for families. Guests enjoyed the various pools, including a kids' splash zone and a larger water park area. The availability of sunbeds and the comfortable 'bali beds' were also appreciated. One guest remarked, "The kids pool is great and not too deep. There’s also a small splash zone for toddlers with some cute little fountains." These amenities contributed to a fun and relaxing atmosphere.
Common criticisms
Language Barrier
Some guests experienced difficulties due to the language barrier, particularly with staff who had limited English proficiency. This occasionally led to misunderstandings and a feeling of being less catered to for English-speaking guests. One guest mentioned, "The staff couldn't speak English so there was a lack of understanding and not very well catered to English people." This issue was noted as an area for improvement.
Beach Experience
The beach experience was a common point of criticism among guests. Several visitors found the beach to be dirty and not up to the standard expected from a five-star hotel. One guest stated, "Beach is awful, it's dirty, wouldn't bother to go." This detracted from the overall experience for those looking to enjoy the seaside.
Entertainment
The entertainment options at the hotel received mixed reviews, with some guests finding them lacking in variety and structure. While certain shows were enjoyed, the overall program seemed underdeveloped. A guest commented, "The evening entertainment is a bit lacking in general however the Rhianna show we saw was great and fun." This suggests that while there are highlights, the entertainment offerings could be improved.
