SIDE KUM HOTEL 5* offers a good value for money experience with its excellent location and friendly staff, particularly in the restaurant and guest relations departments. The hotel is well-suited for families, with a large pool and engaging entertainment options. However, some areas, such as room decor and reception service, could be improved. Overall, it is a solid choice for those looking to enjoy a beachside holiday with convenient access to local attractions. Guests who prioritize friendly service and location will find this hotel particularly appealing.
This family-friendly hotel, located near the popular resort town of Side, is just 600 meters from a private sandy beach with a complimentary shuttle service. The historic center of Side, with its ancient sites, is 5 km away, and Manavgat is 7 km away. Antalya International Airport is 54 km from the hotel. The hotel offers 197 rooms, a 24-hour reception, express check-in/check-out, Wi-Fi, a restaurant, a bar, indoor and outdoor pools, two children's pools, a fitness center, a spa, sports facilities, car hire, free on-site parking, and facilities for disabled guests.

The hotel is ideally located near the beach and other tourist attractions, making it convenient for guests to explore the area. It is approximately a one-hour transfer from the airport, which is manageable for most travelers. Guests appreciated the easy access to local attractions and the beach, enhancing their holiday experience.
Guests found the restaurant manager Ahmet and his team to be exceptionally friendly and efficient. The food service was well-organized, with a variety of options available throughout the day. The guest relations manager Zeynel was also praised for his helpfulness and attentiveness, ensuring guests felt welcome and cared for. "My young son especially took to him and was asking each day whether we would see him (lol)."
While the hotel itself is clean, some guests noted that the rooms could use an update as they appeared tired. Despite the cleanliness, the outdated decor detracted from the overall experience. "I would, however, say that the rooms could do with a little update, the rooms are quite tired."
The reception staff, particularly the manager Ali, were criticized for their lack of friendliness and helpfulness. Guests felt that simple requests, such as ordering a taxi, were met with reluctance. This contrasted with the otherwise friendly atmosphere provided by other staff members. "Unfortunately, we found the reception manager Ali and his team didn’t smile and were not very helpful."
