Why ASTERIA FAMILY RESORT BELEK 5*?
Location
Guests appreciated the hotel's beautiful location, surrounded by nature and with easy access to the beach. The setting provides a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. The proximity to local attractions and the airport is also a plus for many visitors.
Facilities
The resort offers a wide range of facilities, including multiple swimming pools, a private beach, and various dining options. Guests particularly enjoyed the adults-only pool and the variety of water-based activities available. The presence of a kids' club and entertainment programs also adds to the family-friendly appeal.
Food
While some guests found the food repetitive, others appreciated the variety of local and international dishes. The Turkish pizza (lahmacun) and gozleme were highlighted as favorites. The availability of different dining settings, including poolside snacks, was also well-received.
Common criticisms
Room Quality
Several guests reported issues with room quality, noting that some rooms were outdated and not well-maintained. Complaints included dirty bathrooms and dusty corners. Ground-level rooms were particularly criticized for lack of privacy and poor views. "Our room was one of the worst we could get, it was on ground level, smelled bad and was super dark," one guest noted.
Service
Service quality was inconsistent, with some guests experiencing unwelcoming reception staff and language barriers. English proficiency among staff was limited, making communication difficult for non-Russian or non-Turkish speakers. "Reception staff very unwelcoming," a guest mentioned.
Food Variety
While the food was generally tasty, some guests felt that the menu lacked variety and became repetitive over their stay. Desserts were particularly disappointing for some, with limited options available. "Despite the fact it looks like there is huge choice, it's hard to find something you really like," one guest commented.
