Why ARUM BARUT COLLECTION 5*?
Staff
Guests consistently praised the staff for their friendliness and helpfulness. From the moment of arrival, guests were greeted warmly and efficiently, with one guest noting, "The young man who helped with our luggage was polite and efficient, nothing was too much trouble.". Special mentions were made for staff members like Amber, Murat, and Hatchi, who went above and beyond to ensure a relaxing stay. The staff's dedication to service left a lasting impression, making guests feel valued and well-cared for throughout their visit.
Food And Dining
The dining experience at Arum Barut Collection was highly praised for its variety and quality. Guests enjoyed the different themed nights at the buffet, with options like a grill and pasta station, and appreciated the allergen-free section for those with dietary restrictions. One guest highlighted the quality by saying, "The buffet is excellent with a different theme each evening.". The à la carte restaurants were also a hit, particularly the International, although some felt the Turkish restaurant service was rushed.
Location And Amenities
The hotel's beachfront location and proximity to local attractions were appreciated by guests. The ability to take long strolls along the beach and the short walk to Old Town Side were frequently mentioned as highlights. Guests enjoyed the well-maintained gardens and the variety of amenities, including pools, a spa, and entertainment options like the DJ & Sax at the beach bar. One guest remarked, "The hotel is right on the beachfront with a 40-minute walk to Old Town Side.".
Common criticisms
Beach Access
While the beachfront location was generally praised, some guests noted issues with the beach's rocky entrance. This made accessing the sea directly from the beach challenging, prompting some to use the pier or a nearby bay for easier entry. One guest mentioned, "Entrance to the sea was rocky but you could access the sea from the end of the pier.". Despite this, the beach attendant was commended for their helpfulness in managing umbrellas and maintaining cleanliness.
Restaurant Service
Although the food quality was generally high, some guests experienced rushed service at the Petunya Turkish à la carte restaurant. This contrasted with the more attentive service found in other dining areas, where staff were praised for their friendliness and efficiency. The rushed service detracted slightly from the otherwise enjoyable dining experience, leaving some guests feeling that the personal touch was missing compared to other restaurants on-site.
